This Privacy Policy explains what information GloomDeep (“GloomDeep,” “we,” “us”) collects when you play the GloomDeep mobile game, how we use it, and the choices you have. By playing GloomDeep you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account & sign-in. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier that lets us recognize you on future visits. We never see or store your Apple/Google password. If you sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email address (Apple gives us a private relay instead); we key your account off the identifier, not your email.
• Display name. The handle you choose to be shown in-game.
• Game progress. Your character data — class, level, experience, gold, premium credits, inventory and equipped gear, stat allocations, dungeon progress, and in-game settings — saved on our game server so your progress persists across sessions and devices.
• Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred so we can grant the item; we do not receive your card number or billing details.
• Technical connection data. To run the online game server we temporarily process your device’s IP address (to maintain your connection and to rate-limit abuse). We do not use it to build an advertising profile.

What we do not collect

GloomDeep contains no third-party advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no email marketing. We do not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.

How we use your information

• To operate the game and save and sync your progress.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To prevent cheating, abuse, and disruption of the service.
• To respond to your support requests.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Apple and Google, as needed to provide sign-in.
• Our hosting/server infrastructure, which stores your game data on our behalf.
• Authorities, if required by law or to protect the safety of players or the service.

Future social features

Chat and social features (friends, guilds, messaging) are planned but not yet part of the game. When they launch, messages you send will be transmitted to other players and may be processed for safety and moderation. We will update this policy and notify players before those features go live.

Children

GloomDeep is intended for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and game data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Once deleted, your character progress cannot be recovered.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide notice in the game.
